Let us help you do your family research:

G&DHS offers research services provided by unpaid volunteers. All proceeds go towards the maintenance of  equipment and resources and acquiring of materials.  Instead of charging by the hour for research services, we ask that you make a free will offering to the Society to cover our costs and time.

Family Histories in the Archives

In addition to the original land registry records, 140 years of Transcript & Free Press, genealogical and local history books, and a wealth of local historical documents, we also house family histories for over 40 local families.
