Historic Glencoe Railway Station 151 McRae Street, Glencoe, Ontario, Canada

We especially welcome the families and descendants of those who were part of the original save-the-station effort. So many of the people who gave their time, voices, and determination to this cause are no longer with us, and this event is as much a tribute to them as it is a celebration of the building they saved. If your family has a connection to the Glencoe Station restoration story, we would love to see you there. A list honouring those involved, including many who have since passed, is being compiled and will be shared in the future.

He'll speak to the significance of Glencoe's own O-Pee-Chee ghost sign — confirmed by Dr. Dove himself as authentic O-Pee-Chee signage, and, by his estimation, among the largest of only a handful still surviving in Canada, making the case for its preservation as a rare and important piece of regional heritage.
