Battle of Longwoods presented by UTMRC

May 1, 2, 2027 – The first weekend in May, at the Longwoods Road Conservation Area, you can experience history being brought to life. Every year, the Upper Thames Military Re-enactment Society presents the Battle of Longwoods.

The annual Battle of Longwoods War of 1812 reenactment takes place the first full weekend in May at the Longwoods Road Conservation Area in Mount Brydges, Ontario. Hosted by the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority and the Upper Thames Military Reenactment Society, the family-friendly event features tactical battle demonstrations, authentic military camps, period merchants, and children’s activities from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
