Woodgreen – This Neck of the Woods

By Lelah Bell Lumley, 1975

Lelah’s book about Woodgreen is uploaded to the Internet Archive: press here

This history was written by Lelah Bell Lumley in 1975 about her neighbourhood S.S. No. 3 School District, Mosa Township, Middlesex County, Province of Ontario, Canada.

In the spring of 1918, my parents moved the family from “near town line” (townships of Aldborough, Elgin County & Orford Township, Kent County) to a farm in Woodgreen close to the Thames River on Second Range, South of the Longwoods Road, Lot 7 and it is of this section and its history I write, which I hope to leave for generations to come.
