This event is inspired by the mastodon tooth we have in The Archives collection that was discovered in north Mosa Township back in the 1930s.  It is a great story!

Tom Chase will tell us about the mastodon, its Ice Age habitat, and what it teaches us about the ancient landscapes and peoples of Southern Ontario.

Tom Chase has been with the Heritage Center since 2015, working in education, security, and visitor services. A former professional photographer, Tom brings a unique visual flair and deep curiosity to every presentation.
