This is your chance to start your family tree. New and experienced genealogists from the community are all encouraged to register. Learn how to download the apps\, sign up for these services\, and access free content from the library. We will troubleshoot common problems and show you how to recommend the titles you want to see in our digital collections. Join us if you’re curious about ebooks and want to get started\, or if you’ve run into a problem and want some help.\nFacebook for the Community. 16 April 2019.   Controversial as Facebook is\, with the distribution of our local newspapers receding\, we need to get our community messages out via many channels.  Facebook Pages are a must for community groups. Set up a Page for your business\, band\, project\, or church. Post all your Events so that other groups can help spread the word.  Does your organization have someone assigned to look after social media? Bring your Facebook problem and we’ll figure it out.\nPinterest.  23 April 2019.  No matter what your interest\, Pinterest\, is a great place to share and organize images.  Come to this workshop if you would like to get started with your own account and learn the basics.  Also\, come if you absolutely LOVE Pinterest and have some tips and tricks to share.\nGoogle Map\, Docs\, Sheets\, and Slides.  April 30\, 2019. Google applications allow you to work together with your colleagues\, volunteers\, partners\, fellow students.  Instead of sending attachments\, work together in the same document. SUMMARY:March for Everleigh
DESCRIPTION:The Upper Thames Military Re-enactment Society will be conducting its fifth annual March from Delaware to Battle Hill Monument\, a 20 mile distance\, in honour of Everleigh Pierce and her continuing battle with Pulmonary Hypertension.\n\n\nThe march will begin at the parking lot for the 402 at Longwoods Road east of Delaware at 8:00 am on Saturday\, March 2\, 2019.  Arrangements have been made for lunch at the at the NEW Melbourne United Church\, 592 John Street\, Melbourne at 11:30 am.  Transportation back to the parking area will be provided to all marchers.  Members of the public may wish to join us for all or part of the march.  Pledge sheets are available from gstott@xcelco.on.ca or by phoning Glenn Stott at 519 828 3843.\n\n\nAll funds raised will be given to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada. You can also bring your cheque (including your mailing address and phone number) to the Port Hole Cafe\, Longwoods Road\, Melbourne.  Deadline is Friday March 1st and opening hours are 7 am. – 1 p.m.  Or bring your cheque to the NEW Melbourne United Church on Saturday\, March 2 from 9:30 a.m. – 12 Noon.
