SUMMARY:The Highgate Mastodon
DESCRIPTION:This event was inspired by the mastodon tooth we have in The Archives collection that was discovered in north Mosa Township back in the 1930s.  It is a great story!   \nTom Chase\, told us about the mastodon\, its Ice Age habitat\, and what it teaches us about the ancient landscapes and peoples of Southern Ontario.
